Glass, Tin, Silver

You know what's boring? Traditional vases. I am inspired by the new trends in flower vases: glass bottles, tea tins, and silver pitchers or jars. Especially if the said trends are antique! The contrast between the plushness and vitality of flowers against the sleekness of glass and metal is striking and interesting. Popular for garden and country weddings, and perfect for cottage living - these arrangements are easy to create, can cost little, and really don't require much creative effort. Just grab an old bottle, empty tea tin, or that silver jar you never use and fill with flowers. I'm charmed!

Kusmi Tea

It's happening again. That feeling in my chest urging me to scream out with delight. Perfect packaging does this to me. It makes me feel funny. I can't help it. It's like The Hulk and his inability to control his outbreaks when he becomes angry.  I have an inability to contain my excitement when I spot something beautiful. It's best you leave me alone when this happens so I can sort out my emotions without exposing you to the aftershocks. Otherwise, you'd have to witness my bulging eyes, clenched fists and unbearable squeals. The Hulk and I should commiserate over a cup of Kusmi Tea.

MOR Soapettes

I've always considered soap bars a thing of the past.  Shower gels are just easier to use.  But each and every time I come across MOR Cosmetics soap bars, or in this case - 'soapettes', I am forced to rethink why I don't use cleansing solids.  Since when am I so discriminating? It's not like soap bars are hard to use?!  For the love of pretty! When they come packaged in heavenly little collector tins like these, why on earth am I not using solids? More to the point - why don't I own this product yet?  Well played MOR. You and your perfect packaging have messed with my head, yet again!
