Oscar Best

Mandy Moore in a Monique Lhuillier Ready to Wear Spring 2011 gown. Wow. This is her personal best, and my dream dress! This dress is magic, right down to the stardust embroidered sleeves with illusion neckline and tulle skirt. I want to get married in this dress one day. Amazing.

Orange Crush

Sign me up, 'cause I'm joining the club! Orange is such a refreshing color trend for Spring, so fun and a teeny bit edgy. Not quite ready for orange lips? Rock an orange polish or bangle with pride. Or look to Bar Refaeli on the cover of Elle Russia for inspiration. That oughta do it!

One Line a Day

This classic memory keeper is the perfect way to track the ups and downs of life, day by day.  Each day of the year appears five times on each page, allowing users to revisit previous thoughts and memories on the same day over the span of five years as they return to each page to record the current day's events. I believe that One Line a Day is all you need to remember what mattered most. Love!

If you insist on celebrating...

Newsworthy Photos

Love this idea. Black and white photo on a newsprint mat. Très romantique! If you're like me, you'd pair the photo with vintage newsprint. 'Cause you know I'd try to find some connection between the copy and the photo. It's a sickness, really. I can never just accept something for what it is; it has to mean something. I digress.

Wayúu Taya

The Wayúu Taya Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 by Venezuelan model Patricia Velasquez. Wayúu Taya (meaning "I am indigenous") assists the Wayúu, an indigenous group of over 450,000 people, located in the Guajira Peninsula of northern Colombia and Venezuela. Each one-of-a-kind bag by Wayúu Taya is hand-woven by the artisans of this region, and proceeds from the sale of each bag help improve the lives of those in the community.  Find Wayúu Taya bags at luxury retailers such as Holt Renfrew and Shopbop, or visit the Foundation's gift shop online.
