Look at this cover.  Doesn't it make you wish you and your best girlfriends were together on the cover of Vogue for no reason but for being awesome?  The team at Vogue must have had fun with this photo shoot.  I imagine they felt the same way I did when Jem and the Holograms first hit the stage in 1985.  Two words:  Girl. Power.  If I could shoot my own magazine cover, my dream team would include Meryl, Rachel, Sarah, Brigitte and Liv.  The combination of talent, beauty and magnetism these women possess is truly intoxicating.  Who's on your dream team?

Pink Guts

Forget Barbie, think Carrie. Carrie Bradshaw, better known as Sarah Jessica Parker. Who else could pull off bubble-gum pink and look sophisticated. It takes guts to sport this shade of pink and not care about naysayers who encourage pink's negative connotations (you know the ones).  I was never a pink person until Sex and the City entered my life; so, in honor of my newfound confidence, I've discovered some hot 'Carrie-approved' pink accessories. What's the matter?  Too pink? Don't be afraid. Dare I say it...YOU GO GIRL!

Oh, Sarah. Why am I not surprised you are the chosen one. Because really, anyone with a pulse would ask you to head up their label; they know you come bearing the style aspirations of millions of fashion hungry women. This isn't so much a smart business move, as it is plain old common sense.  Sarah Jessica Parker has been appointed Chief Creative Officer of Halston Heritage, a contemporary fashion and accessory line inspired by iconic beauties of the '70's. Here's Sarah wearing two of the gorgeous frocks in scenes from the upcoming and widely anticipated Sex and the City 2. Genius, right? The disco-chic collection exclusive to The Bay is available now. No word yet on the price range; though, many would argue price is of little significance when a piece of 'Carrie' is at stake.
