Pure Like Baby

It's the Ears

This Yoda Hat is equal parts hilarious and adorable.  I'm not proud of it, but I do love when babies and tots wear accessories that make them look half human and half baby animal.  It's a double dosage of cute, because really - there's nothing cuter than babies of any kind!  Granted, Yoda's not a baby animal, but this kid is so cute it takes on the same effect.  Seriously, look at those ears! 

And then there's this little girl who looks just plain angelic in her Little Lamb hat.  This makes my heart melt.  It has got to be the ears.  They get me every time!  God, one day if I have a kid, he or she will grow up to resent me a little bit.  I'm sure of it!

Puppy Dog Tails

As a little girl I had to contend with the notion that little boys were made of snips and snails, and puppy dog tails, and girls were made of sugar and spice. Was I supposed to be happy being a condiment while boys were passionate little creatures, living their lives with the swinging fervor of a puppy's tail? Even more unbearable was the yearly influx of greeting cards I received with kittens on them. Yes, kittens are sweet and all, but my heart belongs to the dogs.  Even though most children's accessories adorned with puppies are reserved for 'boys', I won't hesitate to shower little girls with puppy love because they too are passionate little creatures!

A 'Coo' Pacifier

Pacimals were created by Monica Williams, a doctor and a first-time mom.  Monica's Baby Mackenzie loved her pacifier, but didn't have the coordination to hold it on her own - leading to frustration and tears.  Dr. William's got crafty and attached a pacifier to a plush toy and the result was a pacifier that Baby Mackenzie could keep in place and cuddle with!  The best part?  When Baby no longer needs the pacifier, mom can cut the pacifier loose and Baby gets to keep her plushy friend!
